Ask WealthY
Questions about your book, your day or one client, answered from your firm's own data, with the sources shown.
Ask WealthY is the assistant inside the product. It reads your data through the same permissions you have, answers in plain words, and shows where each number came from. It is on every screen as a button at the top, and it has its own page in the sidebar.

What to ask, as an advisor
- "How is my book performing this year?"
- "Which clients need my attention today?"
- "Who are my largest clients?"
- "Whose KYC review is due?"
- "Who turns 71 this year?" or "Who has not contributed to a registered account this year?"
- "What is open with the custodian?"
- "What is on my calendar this week?" and "What tasks are overdue?"
- "Tell me about Emma Patel": accounts, holdings, notes, last contact, open items, in one answer.
What it can do, not just say
- Create a task or add a note to a client record, and tell you exactly what it wrote.
- Schedule a meeting: the composer opens with the client, time and topic filled in for you to confirm.
- Edit a meeting prep from the prep page ("add a talking point about her TFSA room").
- Build a campaign or enrol a prospect, when you have the Growth tools.
- Compare over time: what changed in the book since last month, in one digest.
Anything that writes is shown to you before it happens.
What clients can ask
In the portal, Ask WealthY answers about the client's own accounts, holdings, documents, open items and their advisor's contact details, and nothing about anyone else. The questions a client asks are visible to you on the prep for the next meeting.
Sources
Every answer that uses data carries source chips. Click Show sources to see the records behind each figure. Answers that aggregate across many records say how many were read.
Where the line is
Ask WealthY reads and organizes. It does not recommend a product, a trade or an allocation. Where the portfolio and the client's risk profile disagree, it says so as a fact and asks you to document your rationale. The recommendation is yours.
Privacy
- A seat sees only what its permissions allow. Sales seats never receive client data. Firm owners can ask firm-wide questions.
- Only the rows needed for the question are sent to the model, never the whole book.
- Every call is logged under Operations > AI activity with what was asked and what was read.
