Tasks and process templates

One list of what you owe and what you are waiting on: tasks from email, tasks handed to a teammate, repeating tasks, whole processes in one click, and tasks for the client.

Tasks and reminders in the sidebar is one list: tasks you own and tasks a colleague handed to you, each row saying which. Overdue first, then today, then later.

Adding a task

Types and actions

Tasks have a type, such as call, email, meeting request, withdrawal, deposit, transfer or open account, and the list filters by type. A task that came from an email carries its action as a button on the row: open the right request form already filled in, draft the reply, or go where the work is.

Handing work over

Assign to gives a task, and the email behind it, to a colleague: an advisor, the firm owner, admin support or a sales seat. They get an alert; you keep the client. The email leaves your inbox and is filed in Archived, with Put the email back right after if you change your mind.

Repeating tasks

Set Repeats to weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually on the row's editor. The next one is created the moment you complete this one. A task due on the 31st that repeats monthly lands on the last day of shorter months.

Queues and working a list

Give tasks a queue name ("US firms follow-ups") and the queues show as pills at the top. Start 12 tasks walks whatever the list currently shows, one at a time: Complete, Skip or Snooze to tomorrow, with a counter. Esc exits; your progress is already saved.

Select several rows to mark them done together (with Undo) or delete them.

Process templates

A template is a whole process: every step with its type, who does it and how many days after the previous step it falls.

The firm owner manages templates under Operations > Task templates. Add the starter library adds six common processes in the firm's language: new client onboarding, annual review, transfer in, account opening follow-through, death of a client, prospect to client handoff. Edit them, duplicate them, or write your own. Delays are calendar days; weekends count.

Tasks for the client

On a new task, pick a client and tick For the client to do. It lands on the client's To do list in their portal with its due date. They tick it off; you see it done, shown as "With" the client on your own list. Items the client agreed to in a meeting land there too when you open the follow-up.
