Integrations

Everything WealthY connects to, who connects it, and what the connection does.

Two kinds of connection. Personal ones belong to one advisor and are made from their own Settings. Firm ones are made once by the firm owner under Integrations and apply to everyone.

Email and calendar (personal)

ConnectWhereWhat it does
Gmail and Google CalendarAdvisor Settings > IntegrationsReads the inbox for triage and drafts, sends from your address, keeps your calendar in sync, and places meetings. The mailbox connection asks for mail and calendar events only; your address book is a separate, contacts-only permission you grant from the Data page if you want it imported.
Outlook and Microsoft 365Advisor Settings > IntegrationsSame as Gmail, for a Microsoft mailbox. Teams meeting recordings can also be captured when the firm turns it on.
CalendlyAdvisor Settings > IntegrationsBookings made through Calendly appear as meetings. WealthY also has its own booking page, so Calendly is optional.

Meetings (personal, firm-enabled)

ConnectWhereWhat it does

Any transcriptMeetings > the meeting > TranscriptPaste a transcript from any tool (Zoom, Teams, Read, Otter, Fathom, Granola) and the follow-up is built from it. No connection needed.

Portfolio data (firm)

ConnectWhereWhat it does
Custodian file feedFirm Operations > DataDaily positions, balances and transactions by secure file transfer from the custodian or back office. This is the path most Canadian dealers use.
BroadridgeFirm Operations > DataDaily file import.
AddeparFirm IntegrationsCredentials stored encrypted; accounts and holdings sync nightly.

Data in and out

ConnectWhereWhat it does
WealthboxFirm Operations > DataOne personal API token, used once on our server and never stored, reads contacts, households, notes, tasks, events and opportunities. See Switching from Wealthbox.
Redtail, CSV and Excel importFirm Operations > DataRedtail's three exports, or any spreadsheet from any CRM, with every column shown before it is written. See Switching from Redtail and from a spreadsheet.
Wealthbox or Redtail syncAdvisor Settings > IntegrationsFor a firm that keeps its CRM: every hour WealthY reads the contacts changed in the CRM, adds the people created in WealthY to it, and writes meeting recaps back as notes with their follow-ups as tasks. With Wealthbox, notes and tasks also go both ways: one added or edited on either side shows on the other, and a task ticked off on either side is ticked on both. Deleting is not carried across. WealthY turns it on with you and reviews the first changes together. Redtail connects once Redtail switches on WealthY's access.
Google or Microsoft contactsFirm Operations > DataYour address book, read once with a contacts-only permission separate from the mailbox connection. Every contact becomes a prospect unless you flip the default.
Bulk document dropFirm Operations > DataDrop a folder of statements, IDs and void cheques; each file is matched to its client for you to confirm.
Public API and webhooksFirm Settings > API access (plan: Pro and up)A REST API with firm-scoped keys: clients (add one, prepared and not sent), accounts, activities, notes, tasks, meetings and meeting notes, households, prospects and request statuses. Signed webhooks for change events, including meeting notes ready. Keys are shown once and stored hashed.
